Referral Programs or "Get Paid to..." programs all operate in the same basic way. The sponsor company pays you for using their service by giving you a percentage of their advertising revenues. The company also pays you to sponsor or refer others. People referred by you become part of your "downline" as well as anyone they refer.

Ok, let's say Jane has signed up for a program, she will be the designated "leader" for this project. Jane then tells a few friends (let's call them Bob and Bill) about the program and they join. Now Jane's downline includes Bob and Bill in the first level. Jane gets paid for her use of the service or program plus a percentage Bob and Bill's use of the service.

If Bob tells his friend Nancy and she signs up, Nancy is in Bob's first level and in Jane's second level (which pays a percentage to both Bob and Jane). Nancy's referrals would become Jane's third level, and so on, and so on.

Because of the downward progression you might think that your efforts become diluted, but that's not the case. If you have someone it each of your downline levels you are getting more per use than if you had no downline. Your downline multiplies your efforts.
